Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Counterbalance Forklift License required.

Location: Redditch
Work Days: Monday to Friday, 6am

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity with the potential for long-term employment.

In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a counterbalance forklift to move stock and materials throughout the warehouse while working in a fast-paced freezer environment.

Important Information:

This role involves occationally working in a freezer environment at approximately -23°C. Suitable PPE will be provided. Applicants must be comfortable working in cold conditions and carrying out physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT).
• Load, unload, move, and store goods accurately and safely.
• Pick, transport, and replenish stock within the warehouse.
• Carry out manual handling and lift heavy items when required.
• Complete daily equipment checks and report any faults.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.

What We Need:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
• Previous warehouse or forklift driving experience preferred.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items.
• Comfortable working in a freezer environment (-23°C).
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
