We are seeking a skilled MIG / TIG Welder to join a forward-thinking manufacturing team based in Redditch.

This hands-on role requires proven expertise in working with mild steel and stainless steel, demonstrating proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel components with precision.
• Deliver welds consistently meeting high-quality standards.
• Interpret and work accurately from technical and engineering drawings.
• Prepare and finish components to meet operational specifications.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
• Achieve production targets and deadlines reliably.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Has demonstrable experience in both MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Is confident working with mild steel and stainless steel materials.
• Can accurately read and interpret technical drawings.
• Exhibits excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Takes pride in delivering workmanship of the highest standard.
• Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Is reliable, diligent and available to start immediately or at short notice.

Please note that a weld test may be required as part of the recruitment process.
