We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business for an experienced Operations Manager to lead site operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes and delivering operational excellence within a fast-paced production environment.

You’ll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation across production and warehouse functions, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, service and efficiency are achieved. Working closely with senior leadership and other departments, you’ll play a key role in driving performance, improving productivity and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and developing production and operational teams to deliver outstanding performance.
• Managing day-to-day site operations across production and warehouse functions.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles.
• Monitoring operational KPIs and implementing improvements to productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Managing labour utilisation, waste reduction and operational costs.
• Championing health & safety and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
• Working closely with Engineering to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Collaborating with internal departments to achieve customer service and operational objectives.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and deliver long-term operational improvements.
• Providing leadership, coaching and support to build engaged, high-performing teams.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous Operations Management experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food production or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Has proven experience leading and developing operational teams.
• Has a strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Is commercially aware with experience managing operational performance and costs.
• Is confident analysing KPIs and using data to drive decision making.
• Has excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Is highly organised with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritise effectively.
• Holds a Lean Six Sigma qualification (desirable but not essential).
