Sheet Metal Worker – Press Brake / Welding & Fabrication

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business in Birmingham.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in sheet metal work, Press Brake operation, welding and fabrication who is looking for a long-term position with a stable company.

The Role:

• Operating and setting Press Brake machinery
• Working with various types of sheet metal
• Carrying out MIG/TIG welding and fabrication
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Measuring, cutting, bending and fabricating components
• Ensuring all work meets required quality standards
• Working efficiently to meet production deadlines

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator / Welder
• Confident using a Press Brake
• Strong welding and fabrication skills
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
