Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Leicester LE9
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 per year (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 07:30 – 16:00, Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch)
The Role:
We are looking for a motivated Export Packer / Case Maker to join our team. This role involves preparing, packing, and securing cargo for export within our bonded warehouse. You will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team and receive full training, so previous experience is not essential
Key Responsibilities:
* Packing and securing cargo for export
* Building cases for delicate or high-value items
* Operating within a bonded warehouse handling secure cargo
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Requirements:
Due to the secure nature of our operations, the following checks are required for all employees:
* Basic DBS check (criminal record check)
* 5-year employment/education history
* Proof of identity (British passport or driving licence)
Desirable:
* Counterbalance FLT licence to assist with cargo handling
