Location: Redditch
Salary: £13ph
Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm Mon-Thurs and Fri 7:30 – 1:30

Are you a hands-on technician with experience in mechanical and electrical repairs? We are currently recruiting for a Service & Warranty Technician to join a busy team, supporting the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of assembled products.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a manufacturing, engineering, or technical background who enjoys fault finding, problem solving, and working with customers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Book products in and out using SAP systems and RMA processes
• Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs, refurbishment, and overhauls of returned products
• Inspect returned products, identify faults, and troubleshoot issues
• Complete detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations
• Support customer returns and provide technical assistance
• Work closely with the Quality Team to investigate product issues
• Provide occasional on-site technical support when required

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or technical environment preferred
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Mechanical and electrical repair experience
• Soldering experience would be advantageous
• Experience using computer systems, ideally SAP, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse and present data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage workloads effectively
• Flexible approach with the ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
